It is home to Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters / 19,341 feet).
The park spans approximately 1,688 square kilometers (652 square miles) and includes
diverse ecosystems: rainforests, moorlands, alpine deserts, and arctic conditions.
